Nice dive in balaclava bay, portland. Quite a work out , ccr, smb, scallop bag and errr and a 12 year old "helping me"scallop! Just enjoyed the fruits of our labour , very nice. Might make him lead me round a harbour wreck tomorrow. Now where's the cold beer.

Thought I'd lost the videos of the snorkeling with turtles, where I was on the boat with a dodgy ear, thankfully found them. How do you upload a video - .mp4 isn't recognised?

Don't do YouTube. I'll need to find another route.

This was going to go in the "annoyed me" thread... Topped up my car's coolant and didn't put the radiator / expansion cap back on properly and lost it - BUT; I've managed to order a replacement that will be ready for collection by 3:30, AND I've managed to fashion a temporary replacement out of the coolant bottle's cap and loads of snoopy loops, which should cover me for the short drive.

See - anything can be sorted with snoopy loops.

Just beware that the snoopy loop cap won't hold in pressure, and the system is designed to be pressurised, so just be careful about how far you drive it.

Picked up my R1 yesterday and rode it to work today.

Had a few odds and sods done to it that I never managed to get around to in the past few months.

    Very happy.

I've got a few days off work over Easter so I'm planning to get the Tuono out of the garage, sort the couple of bits that need doing and get riding again. Not been out on it since September. It's the longest lay off from riding I've had in 20 years.

Can't wait to get back out on it again.

Take it easy guys; I used to ride through the year and could always spot the sports bikes riders after their winter lay-off at this time of year.

I used to ride all year round up until a couple of years ago. I've not ridden nearly as much over the last couple of years due to work and family stuff. It's been very noticeable how rusty I've been after a period of not riding, so yes I'll be taking it easy.

Think a run to the coast might be in order.

Had a day of excellent diving, visibility as far as the torch would go!

And I think the walk to the site was easier this time :)

Working in central London I've no choice but to ride all year. Trains are a fucking joke.

My return to bikes was when I was on an assignment about 10 minutes walk from Waterloo. If I got there before the train was due to depart, it would set off 15 minutes late, if I got there one minute after, it had departed. In frustration, I said to my wife that it would be easier on a bike, instead of telling me that I was a silly old fool, she said "that sounds a good idea.". A bit of training to make sure that I was capable and a week on a hire bike and then bought a CB500 that led to more interesting machines. There were days commuting when it was cold and raining when I did question my sanity!

A diving WCMUT now: 4 dives over 3 days. Cracking weather. Great company. Lovely country.

Lost one afternoon dive to the weather and apparently they are blown out today as well.

Yep blown out today, maybe a blessing in disguise as have had a really stiff neck today. Weather can change very quickly here was flat calm first thing, unusually calm in places where it's normally not. Midday was tearing up something rotten, so a very good call. Last time this happened we went out and when we surfaced it was absolutely shite, lost a fin but was glad to get back on the boat intact. So a very good call today I think x
