Was you on the unit or OC ?
Happy with the Bsac group I have joined. Got an AED and oxygen course on Wednesday and then a course on using the club RIB coming up soon. I do like the look of the dive leader course.
Had a nice couple of dives at NDAC with Wibble yesterday, so thanks very much to him for that.
Was really pleasant. Would be nice to do it again sometime. Really enjoyed having a nice, simple dive.
Sorry for being a dick and leaving my umbilical torch in the car (had to walk up and get it!).
I've some video evidence too which I'm trying to work out what to do with it!
Oh, and the first time recording something in 4k. So 4x the size of 1920x1080 but nothing to display it on (I'm hardly going to put it on the big telly!). Was particularly pleased with using two video lights; the Anchor 189 torch and the LfM NW7 - on a wide-armed rig with the Paralenz.
Was so knackered on Sunday after a busy week and the long drive to Wales and back, pretty much took the day off to recover!
Glad you had a good time, I was a bit knackered, but you are another hour up the road from me.
Would love to do it again.
Late birthday present. Very important measuring/safety kit.
Since Wednesday I’ve experienced a little pain every time I yawned or equalised. Nothing major but enough to concern me.
I popped a few drops of home made swimmer’s ear in last night, spent almost two hours in my local pond @ 6degC and now I’m cured!
I’m sure my GP would’ve said ‘don’t dive’....
A mixture of alcohol and white vinegar.
Hopefully doing first my dive with some of the BSAC mob at Wraysbury next Sunday. The crossover wasn't as painfull from PADI as i thought
Had a good dip in the pool Thursday, nice to get wet again. However...WCMUT
Got to order a band saw as my early birthday present. This also means a worship refit. So excited!
Which idol will you fashion?
Ganesh is my favourite, seems like a pretty decent fella
Workshop! Bloody iPad thinks it knows better than me!
Went to Stoney yesterday for some skills and drills practice. Got more practice than I planned when the solenoid valve in my rebreather stuck open at the hydro box. All in all it didn’t really feel like that much of an event , more an inconvenience but good the skills I learnt kicked in. Managed to fix it for the 2nd dive and it’s now in bits waiting on a nice bath and a service kit.
First time using the new acquisition today. Took turns at towing each other with the Sproglet. It performed superbly.
Big fan of my SS

Just for variety a couple of lightweights after their first joint outing
The third family member was sulking in the car after donating batteries to the new boy (for a weight test) so here's the family picture before they went adventuring.
They will all be heading to NDAC at the end of April (25th and 26th) for the BSAC Try Tech event where BSAC instructors are providing CCR and DPV try dives.
100th dive for the child today. Spent over 1.5hrs scootering around Stoney. Very proud of the little Turnip!
