Luckily I only need the centre & the price is not too much. Still a pain though
Sore chest, hacking cough and snotty nose - grrr!!
I'd have used this as an excuse to fit an Apex manifold and flogged the valves to an aspiring Sidemount diver.
I'm not going to risk it. Sorry chaps, I sneezed 3 times yesterday and each time it slaughtered me, first time driving to work I thought I was going crash. Dr Malik(!) seems to think I might have a misaligned Rib, and when I think about it it makes sense. I'm desperately worried about catching something at the moment which will make me cough or sneeze repeatedly, I think if I did I'd collapse in a heap of wobbly mush of hurt. x
Don't fancy coming along for the lols then?
I think thats part of the problem, I can't laugh either - it fucking hurts! x
edit: I wasn't kidding last night about your toxing death throes, it really was funny and it really hurt me! x
I do what I can.
Love you Dom, but you are one of the worst people on the planet to be around when I can't laugh!
not only that but badger and no doubt barry is going to be around too! ffs find a bucket to pour me into now! x
It could be worse; Daz could be going as well...
Sorry to hear that... i know from experience how painful ribs can be. I did something (i don't know what) to my ribs on holiday messing about with the kids in the pool a couple of years ago. Sounds like it might be similar to what you've done, as mine happened leaning out of the pool with my ribs effectively across the edge of the pool when it just suddenly felt like a rib gave way and i sank bank into the pool.... the pain was excruciating and exactly as you describe, the slightest move, heavy breath, laughter, coughing etc were agonising..... I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but it took weeks and weeks, probably 8-10 weeks before it felt almost normal again..... although i had no treatment, just figured it needed rest.... on a positive note... it's perfectly fine now, so it does recover!
Hope you feel better soon, but be prepared for a bit of time resting.... i think it's going to take a little while....
Thanks Stu, at the moment, the ups and downs I'm having with it are just depressing, I have a good day and think hey its starting to clear up, next day I have a bad day. The way I feel at the moment, however long it takes it will be, I just want it to get better just to stop the discomfort. I'm not really thinking about diving plans at the moment, i've put those on hold until I feel better. In some respects I didn't think I would ever say this, but there are more important things than diving! x
Who are you and what have you done with the real Becs?
Way ahead of you mate. They were ordered the same day. Only issue, you have to get the bands to match
Grrrrrr. I've not done 9 hours at 0.8m... It has been 9 hours since I last dived
I also noticed that all reference to the XDeep Black has been removed from xdeep.eu website.
And Dom's just flogged his OSTC...
Don't blame me, Wibs!
Maybe it's upset because the water wasn't salty enough?
He hasn't paid yet...
Shouldn't have bought a computer, not a depth timer... lol Can't believe you just missed out on Doms OSTC
He has now, sorry.
Awful timing - the grief I'm getting for my spending on diving - especially over a certain ongoing obligation...
