Just wondering if anyone has dived here? We've been looking at it for a possible winters day out when the weather is going to be crappy.

For anyone who has dived it:
how does it work with the dives? ie. do you have allocated times in/out? with groups do you have sole use of the place or is there likely to be 20-30 divers there at once?

And finally does anyone have a contact number? the number on the website is out of use

    Cheers

 It's more an idea for a day over winter when the weather is crap and not much chance of doing anything else

Nice people, nice set up, very shallow and very dark. Dived it with Phil a few years ago, Its a big underground swimming pool, good for a go, good for line laying etc.

I think The Rez is great and if I lived closer I'd have been there a fair few times by now :)
But then I enjoy dark, overhead environments

I’m surprised you can’t get through on the number but IIRC you need to book, either as a group or to add to numbers as I believe there is a limit on how many can dive in one sitting. At least I think there was 2 years ago but there were plans to extend/expand and that may have happened.

Of course, after the first dive the vis will drop dramatically

There is an email address: martin@therez.fsnet.co.uk which I know worked in the past

I may be able to find an alternate number but not in the immediate future. Let me know if you arrange it and have any car sharing from Berks :p

Will do, but I wouldn't get my hopes up for the car share ;)

Resurrected for the benefit of Air Guzzler just to remind him of his opinion of this place;)

Be careful, JB2Cool will be along in a mo stating the bleeding obvious that the thread is over 2yeras old and thus serves no purpose.

Mind you, well done for remembering AG's view on the place, to be fair he wasn't exactly enthralled with the idea when I asked him the other week.
I'm glad his chest infection is better though, as when I asked on Friday he couldn't dive this weekend ;)

Strange that... you asking him if he could dive this weekend... because when I asked you if you could dive this weekend you said no too

Ha ha ha, AG wants to dive it with side slungs. The virtual world is a small place. OK I suppose for trying a few new things out. Interesting quirky place to dive once you find the tw@ing thing. Come one way and it's signed, come the other way and you go straight past it. SatNav way off. Bottom of the hill, opposite a pond. The hippy bloke that runs it is a good guy but the soup is overpriced. You have to group book the venue.

Can't you lot just pick up the phone.

I'm sure I've just read about overpriced soup in another place. How over priced is overpriced compared to making it yourself with the associated faff?

These comments are the result of 'picking up the phone'.

Bout 4 quid for a small bowl of it. Could buy a flask and take your own for less.

Watch yourself getting in to the water or you face plant the wall opposite.
