Spoken to Swanage; still don't know if it's on or off. Forecasts keep changing; literally hourly. They'll make the call tomorrow (Friday).

Our dives are all a fair way out: 8, 10 and 13 miles. If the wind's in the right direction then it'll be OK.

I've made the call with Mrs Wibble: we're going. So if anyone's there, see you there.

We've binned our dives , today was cancelled by Bryan and we called fri/sat. Been to NDAC today. Was ok, viz not great but acceptable, seen it a lot better.

    Sorry for your weekend.

A drive in the rain, followed by some shopping while I recharge the car, followed by something cultural.

And @jps : you are not allowed to suggest any more dives this year...

NDAC, then a visit to family. Rather disappointed indeed.

Happy to abandon the little chatterbox for a deeper dive first thing if anyone is up for that - JPS/Wibs/Splinter? Then we'll go bimbling together.

Too much like hardwork.... all those emails.
Just need to find some way to book the weather in advance.

A drive in the rain interspersed with traffic jams, staying in a well overpriced pub, and it's Monkey World tomorrow to say hello to Doomanic's relatives

I got the call about 10mins out from Swanage. I've not been to this neck of the woods before so I'm going to do a bit of exploring and pay a visit to bovington tank museum at some point. I've got Monday off work, so might make a long weekend of it.

I'm gutted, but I'm going to make the most of a weekend away from the family. They're great, but it'll a be nice to just do something without having an hour long discussion of "it sounds boring" or "will there be WiFi"" !

Thanks for oganising it jps, i appreciate it. Shame about the weather, but shit happens.

If anyone is down this way and the weather picks up, give me a shout. Be nice to attempt to get a dive in. Ever the optimist!

Go over to Portland. Visit o'three and underwater explorers. Go to the cafe at the end of Portland bill. Highly recommend the crab sandwich.

So that only took 9 months of planning.......

Best start arranging next year's diving now.

Any of you get in today?

Not quite the sea, but we had three super dives in Tidenham's finest flooded quarry.

No diving, but it's been a nice weekend away anyway. Done a bit of exploring and had a couple of nice evenings with furryman and Wibble and their better halves.

Hope your wife recovers quickly, jps.
