I have just added my name for the Spyros, but ropes off for the Betsy at 16:10 is going to make it a bit late for sorting out evening meal with the lovely Mrs F.

I've taken the final place on the Venezuela.

After that will just do a couple of pier dives with my daughter (subject to her getting qualified) and anyone else that fancies a gentle bimble.

That might be me - I've cancelled the boat trips as, with two months off, I won't be up for proper wreck diving.

I'll be around Saturday and Sunday morning, delighted to have a bimble with you and your daughter on Saturday.

Decided to cancel the Swanage trip because of my ear problem. Enjoy yourselves, I'll do it another time.

That's a shame John, was looking forward to enjoying a little dive under the pier with you.

    Hope your ear is ok.

Oh noes. Was looking forwards to a gentle bimble under the pier.

Just seen your other post. I do hope it isn't a hole in the ear drum. Hopefully will get to dive some other time.

The doctor is well aware of my diving and seemed confident that it would heal quickly. He wants another look in 10 days, when he expects it will be fine - even if it is at that point, I'll give it another week or two to make sure.

If in doubt you can always drop your kit at the gate and park up the top. From memory it uses one of those parking apps.

Weather in swanage is pants, more to the point the wind is horrific. We went out today but only got out of the bay before we agreed to down grade the dive to the kyarra. For me and subsequently my buddy we decided it was too rough for us to throw ourselves off the boat so binned our dive and sat it out. The rest (7) went in , viz was apparently ok.

Tomorrow is cancelled and Friday/sat forecast is shocking. We're considering binning the rest of the week , might go home or pop to Chepstow to get the salt spray off the kit.
