I love the surgical rubber bungees that are provided with the Shearwater Perdix and I want to rebungee all my other gear with the same stuff. Does anybody know a source? Or the exact specs so I can maybe find the same on eBay?

My LDS has a reel of it (albeit flesh coloured).

Personally I prefer standard nylon sheathed bungee cord as it's less likely to break, i.e. tear, due to the nylon outer sheath.

If we ever meet up, you're welcome to my (unused) Shearwater bungee.

It's called surgical tubing. If you type that in eBay, you'll find plenty.

Mine started to tear so I swapped it for 4mm bungee.
