not sure how to upload a video, so heres a link to FB. Hope it works.
heres a couple of photos. Didnt get much more than this. using the gopro was a bit of a learning curve and the first few dives didnt produce any good photos. we found that it is a bit crap in photo mode, but amazing in video+photo. in photo, it would never focus at all !? in video+photo it sometimes struggles to get the photo, but generally its really good. all of these images are from video+photo mode.
There was a firm current on some of the dives, but nothing too energy sapping if you kept in the shelter of the rocks/reef. a few of the dives required us to descend on the mooring line, while hanging on like a flag on a windy day, but it was ok once you were down. the visibility on most dives was about 15m. but one was up to about 20 or 25. the worst was less than 10m. there is plenty to see here and id certainly go again. there was a lack of sharks, apart from THAT one, but thats probably due to the huge numbers of divers on some of the sites. Our small group of 5 seemed to be one of the few on NITROX so we tended to stay deeper, for longer, just to avoid the others, but sometimes it was a bit over crowded. at one dive site there were 15 boats! thankfully this wasnt the norm, and the other sites were less crowded.
