Did the course with Dahab Divers in Dahab mid November.
Thanks (I guess) to Salaka for the course and my two victims for their patience and tolerance.

Waited until the end of the first week of the holiday to gain some fitness and some diving practice.

    Rescue Diver at 60... Yay

I guess that is the end of my badge collecting, I cannot get an HSE1 medical to do DM, even if I felt inclined to do a stint as a dive slave...

    Cheers Harry

Do that anyway... Got about 5 years left of getting my medical fairly easily assuming I keep the diabetes well managed.

I intend to make the most of it.

Well done. Heres to five years more than the five years you anticipate.

Probably no to the trimix. I'm more a bright light and stripy fish sort of diver.
The only deco dive I've ever done and the least memorable was a 20 minute transit in a tiny pool of light, across a slab of rusting steel with a hole smashed every few feet where there was once a porthole. Somewhere off Swanage if I recall correctly. I actually saw two shrimps in one of the wrecked portholes, the sum total of the interest on the dive.
    Not my sort of hobby.
    But it takes all types.

Suggsy, thanks or the good wishes. If I'm still diving by the time I'm seventy, I'll be somewhat surprised and incredibly damn grateful.

    Cheers Harry
