Recreational (AOW, SD, Fundies) level diving off Outcast over Spring Bank Holiday weekend. Wrecks wil include the Maine, Percier, James Egan Lane -- subject to what people want and the weather.

If possible, it would be nice to go out to the Eddystone rocks, but only if the weather plays ball.

Depths will be circa 30 metres. Whilst it's recreational level diving, you will need to be familiar with sea diving and bring the normal kit: SMB, etc. You'll need two cylinders as the boat won't be returning for a fill between dives.

Tides are neaps that weekend, so we'll be in for longer slack and hopefully some fantastic visibility.

Outcast is an excellent hard boat with lift. Dougie's a great skipper.

Boarding will be from Sutton Yacht Harbour outside Aquanauts. Parking in Staples (circa £6 - bring change!)

You can book for all three days, or just Sat+Sun - please state.

Accommodation is not included. Typically we use the Kynance B&B up on the Hoe which is diver friendly and not too expensive.

    1. @Wibble (3 days) - deposit paid
    2. @furryman (3 days)
    3. @Andy Stevenson (3 days) - deposit paid
    4. Pamela (3 days) - deposit paid
    5. @Flying Fish (3 days?)
    6. @Danjoe (Sat + Sun) - Monday's free
    7. Steve Martin (3 days)

    Edit:
We filled half the boat; Aquanauts have found a group of 5 to take the rest of the places, so we're now taking half the boat. Price £50 each day (might be a little extra if we manage to do a long distance trip one day - we'll see down there).

    There's one more space available.

    Is that a metaphor?

No metaphor, we're looking at holiday dates for next year and the boss gets something like 11 days more than me so we will be utilising bank holidays as much as possible.

    Any others?

To clarify, it'll be deposit in advance, balance on the day.

Diving from Sutton Harbour (Aquanauts). We normally stay at the Kynance hotel/B&B which is around £35/night (TBC)

Any more for this trip? Diving Plymouth is great - I've done 4 weekends there this year!

The diving's off of a hard boat (i.e. a RIB, not a difficult boat) which is equipped with a dive lift. The diving will suit divers with PADI Advanced Open Water certifications or equivalent; we'll be diving to maximum of 30 metres with some a lot shallower. Typical profile is a deeper first dive and a second shallower. The departure point will be Sutton Harbour, next to Aquanauts, so nice and central. Accommodation is normally at the Kynance which is cheap, good value and very central.

Kit wise, singles are fine, but bring a second cylinder for the second dive. Twinsets normally do both dives on the same fill, possibly with a stage if it's a bit close.

A lot of fun and some great diving. See @becky9's post for the video from this year:
    https://ukdivers.com/community/threads/ukd-muff-diving-summer-2015.13223/page-16

As it's a bank holiday weekend, you could come along for two or three days.

    Edit:
Costs: will need a deposit of £25/day soon (once it's confirmed). Price of the days vary according to distance; the price will be the boat cost divided by #people. Typically £500-£600/day, so £45 to £50 each if we can fill all 12 places.
