Gauging interest in diving in Plymouth on 9th and 10th September 2017. A hard boat on the usual locations: JEL, Maine, Persier, Eddystone Rocks...

    Who's interested?

I've just been reminded of the horrendous choice of date... it's our 30th wedding anniversary on the 12th!

    Oops :woot:

    Alternative dates?

Any time in the summer holidays is not generally good for me but I'm a provisional yes depending on what we dive.

Muff is a bastard long way for me and will probably involve 2 nights away so my attendance is conditional on all 4 dives being ones I want to do.

Could you also confirm what you mean by recreational dives? Max 18m? Max 30m? Max 40m? No deco? No accelerated deco?

Muff's a long way for most of us! Agreed about the summer hols.

Recreational: depth to 30 metres so the usual wrecks.

Duration's another question though - that's what Dive125 does to you! As we're on-site and have a longish surface interval to the second dive, there's no reason why the dives couldn't be mixed: some people going in with a single cylinders to NDL (no deco limits) and others going fully tooled up for as long as they like (that's not a challenge for three hours on a box!)

Lets just go back to plan A... 9th & 10th September. That should get it away from the holidays and hopefully should be plenty of people to attend.

I'd like the destinations to be within the AOW limits, circa 30 metres, so most people will be able to do it. However, I'd also like the boat to cater for people doing longer dives if they wish.

LOW water's at 14:40, Springs were on the 8th.

    Who's interested in this date?
