I've just relisted a drysuit that I need to get shot of. The post is now awaiting moderation.

I can understand the need to moderate ads from new users but is there no setting that would allow regular users to post without needing moderation?

I can't help thinking that this gives moderators and admins first dibs on all the bargains - or am I just being a bit cynical?

Moderating a website is a thankless task and, unless I'm missing something, they are volunteers. As a volunteer for various village activities, it pisses me off when the only feedback I get are complaints, usually unjustified.

well, the advert's been up for 3 hours now, and I haven't seen a post saying "sold to Wibble or Doom", so I guess it won't fit the moderators ;)

It's too long for Wibble and too narrow for me.

If there was such a setting, it would have to be applied individually, so there's no guarantee you'd be among the chosen anyway... ;)

    He beat me to it.

This item is more suited to the 'athletic' type. Not the usual description of a UK diver - particularly those that mostly frequent quarries and indulge in the house catering.

Boots are too small for me, I'd have been tempted otherwise (Exactly the same as my existing suit).

what does it matter if it is looked at first by the moderators, as long as it it sold for your price,
you want, i had a 15lt cyclinder on here, no takers, and there was a wanted post,
feels like ebay, every one wants it for nothing. or dreamers.
and why should so called dealers get free advertising. crack on moderating guys.
