My partner is going to try and find some (probably expensive) shampoo/conditioner for when we go away on holiday.

She is looking for something that will let her wash her hair more often since we are going to be in the sea everyday.

Does anyone know of something that has been designed with this in mind???

TBH on a liveaboard I don't bother with shampoo (it's all weight!) and just wash with conditioner. Conditioner is a total godsend if you have long har and go in salt water, I opt for a cheap one so I can use loads and lather into the hair really well.

The other thing with conditioner is to do your hair first (and don't rinse), then shower your body and finally rinse your hair - the longer the conditioner is left on the more good it does.

    Cheers for ALL the replies.
I would have replied to the first few last night but the forum doesn't seem to work very well on Android.

Pantene have a 'leave-in' conditioner that really works well. I use it in high season, when I'm wet most days :p

Boots do a Sun Sea and Sweat range, which I usually take with me on dive hols. I also take Aussie detailing spray for afterwards (mainly because it smells lovely)!

Yeap,1st Pantene, Tresemme ( ? ) from Wilkins £3.00 . Black bottle, blue and silver writing I think. Water softener and conditioner is what i believe you want.

Just got back from doing 4 dives a day on a liveaboard.

After each dive rinse your hair on the dive deck using the spray showers to get rid of the worst of the salt.
At the end of each day* wash your hair thoroughly in conditioner (I used shampoo on alternate days but conditioner daily).
I kept my hair clipped up out of the way ontop of my head, but used the wind to "blow dry" before going to bed

I have long hair and this has avoided both friz and tangles, infact my hair looks better now than before I left home.

    * avoid a hot shower immediatly after diving as it can bring on a skin bend - I mostly showered cold, but if you want a hot shower wait a few hours after the dive.
