Just had my Sky BB upgraded to fibre optic and I am looking to install a NAS drive to hold all of my movies, pictures and music (itunes?) and stream them. Any advice and/or recommendations as to which would be appreciated please.

Looking for a minimum of 2TB but more storage would be good. 4TB, 6TB?

Lucky sod! I can't even get ADSL here let alone fibre.
Personally I go for SATA Hitachi drives in whatever NAS box you buy. I've had too many issues with Seagate or Western Digital drives in the past. The external box is pretty standard and is just a way to interface with a disk drive.

I use a 2TB Western digital MyBookLive and then use a WD TV live to stream anything on it to the telly.

I too have a WD TV Live but suspect I need a bit more storage than 2TB.
The WD TV is attached to an ext HDD atm (2TB) and that is about 2 thirds full of movies and music.

so buy another one and seperate the audio from the visual. Keeps everything neat and tidy.

The one I am now looking at from QNAP 4 bay with 4x 2TB HDD's is going to set me back £770 inc VAT. Ouch!
But waiting to see the price of the ipad3 when released next week(?) as I want one of them too!
Then of course all may change! Lucky I have all the dive gear I need!

hmm - didn't look that closely. They've always been pretty good at turning stuff around if yo ucall them. I've dealt with them for over 10 years.
