The only time i went to Malta it was April time. I dived with New Dimension Scuba in St Paul's bay who i would recommend, they were great. We were looking at going again in January until my girlfriend saw the air temperature around then so now we need to find somewhere warmer to go!

Going to Malta now in November from 19th to 24th - will stay in Melliaha and should be diving with Seashell dive centre there. Any tips?

If you want the best octopus on the island (the owner claims), our favourite is Bouquet Garni - the fish is excellent too, brought out on a large platter for you to choose. It's on the main street where the buses pass. It is small, always busy so you have to book, not cheap but not silly prices.

I’m going with Jingle in May. I think he’s running two trips...

Bit late to this but a good time to avoid the bussle is October if you want warmer water 5mm down to 2mm shorty dependant on individual. I was there in mid May 2019 had the Rozi and P29 to ourselves ( entry exit was tricky due to weather but fun, I had just got my AOW so not that experienced and no issues ). In May it was 14 degrees and I was fine in a full 5mm.
If a trip was organised I would be interested as well.

Still trying to sort out next year (which it'll be in a few hours). The thought of clear water, minimal current, warm water (although 14 degrees isn't that warm!), and a generally easier time of diving sounds like such fun. The mind's eye's swimming off into the distance....
