    Hello everyone

I'm sure this has been asked before but couldn't find anything useful with the search... any recommendations for where to get trimix fills in W London or Surrey / Hampshire / Mddx / W. Sussex? I can find some places with google but they all seem really stupidly expensive rather than just horrendous (e.g. He at 6.5p/l at http://www.planetscuba.co.uk/air-fills-diving-gun/).

    Thanks for any help

I know Wraysbury do 'mix, don't know the price and nothing on their website that I can find.

I've just paid 5p/litre (=just under £50) for a 20% phil at my LDS near Brighton. Although it's a very full fill, so pleased with that.

For richer gasses, the only real option is a 6 hour round-trip to NDAC or Portland which I'll do for some deeper stuff later this summer, e.g. 45% is £55 (http://www.underwaterexplorers.co.uk/gas-fills) or 2.5p/litre (circa £60) from NDAC (http://www.ndac.co.uk/gas_prices.htm)

There's a guy in Hastings who will do fills for less than I've just paid, but it wasn't worth the hassle of a longer drive and paying a "joining fee".

If only I used a rebreather...

I just called Wraysbury and was quoted about £70 for 21/35. For comparison, UE quote £55 on their site.

Thanks, might end up using Wraysbury on occasion then. I'm surprised there's nowhere that does mix at the same sort of prices as you can get in Portland or at Vobster / NDAC but I guess it's not a big market.

For calculating and comparison, a fill of 21/35 to 230bar is:
    83bar of helium (x24 = 1992 litres)
    23bar of O2 (x24 = 552 litres)

    (Figures from MultiDeco tools)

Thanks. I'll give GH a call on Monday and see what they do - both Wraysbury and Feltham are close enough to me that paying a bit over the odds is made up for by not having to drive for hours.

I second scuba tech in Eastcote. Otherwise, Amphibian or Wraysbury, depending on which of the 3 you're closest to.

They are more engineering than IT. Telephone and satnav work best :)

Dive Style quoted my £60 for 21/35 so not too far off UE

    G&H Engineering (Feltham) = £42.80
    Vobster (Somerset) - Member = £50
Skin Deep (Portland) = £51.50 (cheaper if reblending an existing mix)
    Vobster (Somerset) - Non-Member = £55
    Underwater Explorers (Portland) = £55
    Dive Style (Wokingham) = £60
NDAC (Chepstow) - Member = £60 (I think. This is based on 2.5p/1.7p which is their members pricing.)
NDAC (Chepstow) - Non-Member = £65 (I think. This is based on 2.7p/1.8p which is their non-member pricing.)
    Scuba Tech (Eastcote) = £65
    Wraysbury (Heathrow) = £70
    Aquanauts (Kingston Upon-Thames) = £80
    Kent Diving (Dartford) = £114

Anyone know for Amphibian and we can add them to the list.

Kent Diving in Dartford for the eastern side of London... probably easier for you @Wibble than NDAC... and then you could go and stroke Pearl.

(don;t as me what their prices are I haven't been diving for several months now!

Vobster (Zummerzet) £55 or £50 for members
Aquanauts Kingston charge 3.5p per litre for He, plus something for O2 so probably around £80 for a fill of 21/35
