Hello I live in torpoint Cornwall and thought I'd ask if anyone has a 2kg 1kg weight mould I could borrow to make some weights as when I make them if I brought a mould I would probably never use it again
    Thanks

I have a 2lb mould that I use to make 1kg blocks. It's too small for anything more than 1.5kg and even that is a bit of a push. Have you got a load of lead scrap already? It may just be easier to buy lead weights rather than go through the faff of making them.

Probably easier to just buy them as said. If you really want and can get sheet lead cheaply then get a pocket weight belt then you can fold and hammer strips into lumps that will pop into the pockets.

The blisters have all healed now.

For those not in the know, I had a small molten lead explosion when I was last doing this, molten lead over my hand/face/chest/legs. Only a bit but it could have been bad.
