After today I'm going to have to modify my "I'm only doing Scapa once I'm on a box" to "I'm only going to do Scapa on a box and a scooter"...

I first went to Scapa with a twinset and stage and knew I was going back ..... It is a great place to dive as you get most dives done and the conditions are usually pretty good, although in high winds it can be a little "sporting".

I have dived Scapa with a rebreather and with a scooter but however you dive it you will enjoy it .

they do have a pot in Stromness but, unless you are unsafe to be out on your own, the biggest hazard of solo diving is getting trapped/entangled :time bomb:. There are holes you shouldn't go in and places best avoided (say's he remembering... )
