I'm nowhere near Kent, but a dive buggy sounds like a right laugh

Where are you thinking for a dive?

Although I’ve a cold that’s gone to my middle ear so, from past experience, it’ll be 4 to 6 weeks before it’ll clear.

I will probably be going to NDAC in the next couple of weeks,
Wraysbury is my closest but it’s boring and the vis is always crap, so I would rather go a bit further and have better vis.

I know the feeling. I was in the same boat (or not!) a few years back. Have you considered joining a club? It worked for me, although I did end up joining one 100 miles away.

When are you going? Would be nice to set a date — can’t confirm I’d be there due to man flu

Another. Way around that — depending on your experience and attitude— is to do a solo diving course. Then you can at least dive in Wraysbury if nobody else wants to come out and play. Can also dive on most of the dive boats too.

Bloody hell wibble, I won’t ask what you are doing at 3.47 in the morning.
I was thinking of the first Sunday in January, does that suit you ?

Poxy man flu keeping me up - coughing & bunged up. Thankfully it's during a holiday period (spot the freelancer!)

I'd like to say yes, only issue is whether the ears clear in time.

Normal nitrox dive profile? Twins or singles?

@davedevine111 - would you be up for that? Same question; which profile & kit?

I'd be diving on a twinset, or maybe sidemount.

I would be on twin 12L with on air, I have got a stage but as the ref is not clean it is currently only on EAN 40.

NDAC is best done on 32% although anything is possible. I’ll use a twinset too.

Just thought, it’s over a couple of years since I did a non training or skills dive at NDAC!

My twins are full with 21, if we are all going with 32 I will have to get them filled when we get there, otherwise I don’t mind using air.

Should get in at least two dives in a day. I’ve about 30 bar of 50% He in my twinset from my last dive so I’ll get that air topped.

Poxy man flu's up and down. Hoping my ear will clear in time.

If they are still bad I don’t mind postponing if that helps, make no difference to me.
