This exhibition tells the story of the Deltebre 1, an English military transport ship out of Alicante that was lost at the mouth of the River Ebro in 1813 during the Peninsular War. This is one of the best preserved archaeological vessels ever found, as it has never been plundered.

Divided into five areas, the exhibition engages you in a riveting true story revealed through a singular archaeological site excavated and studied on the seabed.

Where: Museum of Archaeology, Girona, Spain. When: March 14 to June 22 2014.
