Yep happy to be often called a cock by sanctimonious a-holes that are indicative of the worse elitist
bulls*it elements of diving. It's my mission in life to call them out for what they are, goes with the territory :)

Also happy to put a smiley face, cause a diver likes his D9 and doesn't give a s*it what you think, he's happy
    and my job is done :) :) :) :) :) :)

I was looking for a watch too, and No need for a big screen for my dives. I’m down there to look at wrecks and fish. :D

I didn’t really appreciate the difference until I binned my Vyper Air and bought a Perdix, but I’d not go back, especially not for anything where deco is a serious consideration.

Me too. The Perdix runs rings around the Suunto which is really deprecated to logging and complete backup duties. I'd hate to run serious deco on it as it's so lacking important info (e.g. ceiling, TTS, delta TTS, current gas selection...)

However, I do [think I] get what @Pembrokeshire Falconry is saying regarding a watch-styled computer for recreational diving with a small bit of deco, especially in clear water where there's enough light to read the display (without always turning on the backlight).

For recreational diving the D9tx is as good as most dive computers. It's alleged technical diving capability is just marketing fluff.

As a watch, I quite like it.

Hopefully you get the idea? Got back from hols but can’t find the pics I sent to sunnto. This worked 100% compared to the original strap straight into the watch body idea.
