Hi, my wife got me DX9 for Christmas along with a transmitter for the tank, my stage one has only one high pressure port which is used by my gauge - I've just come back from holiday and the guys at the dive centre said loose the gauge and plug the transmitter in, then use the watch instead - is it ok to rely on the watch or should I have both?

The other question is can I set the amount of dives I've done on the dive computer so I don't have to keep re numbering them when I download them onto the PC.

    Thanks

That's the idea, you use one or the other but not both. If you do want to use both then either change your regs or get some kind of splitter (probably not a fantastic idea).

I don't think the computer can be programmed like you wish.

Thanks, I'll take the gauge off but keep it in my dry bag just in case.

It's not the end of the world to re number the dives when I get home.
