cam buckle replacement

    What is best way to remove cam buckle from webbing to put a new one on.

    Most of the time these come stitched to the webbing already so If I needed a new one I'd simply buy a new buckle that's already stitched ot the webbing. Other than that I think you'll have to unpick the stitching and then resew it afterwards (Ensuring you use bonded nylon thread).

    Yes the D ring for the buckle is stitched on, the problem is finding someway to spread the metal D ring open a bit to take buckle off.

    Whet exactly are you trying to achieve? Is the cam buckle broken? What is it stitched to?

    buckle is snapped & it is stitched to camband., dive shop will not replace under warranty.

    Is the cam band removable? Just replace the whole thing
