You should now see a Calendar tab underneath the UKD logo in the top left.

To get an entry in the calendar you need to create an event. I've enabled event creation in the Diving Trips and Locations forum as well as the Testing forum. You should now see Post New Event next to Post New Thread.

In the fullness of time I'll add a Google Calendar sync, if I can ever get it to work...

    Hi Andy

Nice work ... I thought your'd been working on something interesting down there.

Only issue I can see is that I can only view Feb will this grow with events or should there be a month selector somewhere?

It's not obvious, but if you click to the right or left you'll get the next/previous month/week.

Nice work mate, is it a public calendar or is there an option for private events as well?

Anyone with permission to post can create an event. No way to keep stuff private that I can find.

    Well done Andy, nice work.

Curious: how many people are using Tapatalk?

    Is it any good?

I use it as it works better on my phone than using Safari, particularly if reception is bad like at work. No as keep on the new style though, also have Forum runner which is also good.

Used to be. The last update in January was terrible though. Integration with the forum is easy enough.

I use it. As Garf and Zubar have said, it's gradually getting worse, but it's the best way to view the forum when mobile.

I use it too, and whilst it's definitely got worse recently, i think the very last update improved it marginally on whatever shite it was before..... Still leaves a lot to be desired, but my preferred way to view the forum when mobile!

I only really use Tapatalk, I use it on my phone and tablet as I don't really use a normal computer

Interesting. I've always used the web browser on my iPhone and iPad. I don't use Safari, I do use Atomic Web Browser which (I know uses Safari under the hood) has a great full-screen mode, removing the whole title bar.

I've just checked the iPhone and the calendar application renders quite well. Better in landscape, but still works in portrait.

I tried TT. Not since the last update.
Ukd renders pretty well on my iPod in portrait mode (safari)

Much better than a certain other dive forum (sorry sir).

I have forum runner also as that was what ukd mark1 used. Just started reusing it as the other place included that and I must say it is very fast. Better than TT by miles.

I stopped using FR when UKD activated TapToTalkShite, I might reinstall it.

Just updated 16 apps. I'll let you know how TT is, their update blab says they are aware of the negative feedback and will be sorting it over a few updates.

I get a parse error when trying to access UKD through FR. TDF works though.

I've just tested FR too... i get the following error message:
"The remote server sent an unknown response. This could be a result of the forum software plugin being outdated or having a conflict"
Don't know if that helps you systems guys?
