I don't know to much about it. It's all being arranged through my local dive centre.. When I go I'll do a review for certain! For now just looking at anyone's reviews, suppose to be amazing as far as sharks/rays are concerned

We've just booked a week on Faial next September.

We'll do some sightseeing as well, but got a few dives planned.

    Me neither. :)

I'm looking forward to doing more diving next year, I've got 2 weeks in Indonesia in April and then the week in the Azores in September and I'm hoping to do more than the handful of UK dives I've done this year too.

My wife wants to go to the Azores but reading about the dive sites I need a chunk more experience - I'm persuading her to put it back a year.

Yeah, from what I've read and heard from people who've been, it's not like diving in Sharm! :)

Let us know how it went when you come back. As a new (and older) open water, it would be helpful to understand what's available to newbies there.

I think that depends on where and what you dive.

There's diving suitable for a newly qualified OW diver (as there are most places), but I believe the best stuff isn't... Deep, open water and strong currents, apparently.

Of course, the dive centre could just be interested in business :D
