    Hope everyone is well.

Just purchased the Apex Vx1 uv mask and wondered if anything needed to be done to prevent fogging.

Obviously the toothpaste trick isn't going to be advisable and not sure if anti fog spray can be used on uv lenses.

The instructions dont really give away much.

Do you know which side of the glass the coating is on?

Abrasive like toothpaste or barkeepers friend, burning with a lighter, a cycle through the dishwasher or prepping with something like baby shampoo/dish soap/sea gold are the only methods I know

It's on the inside and says try to avoid touching with fingers and tools. Might get in contact with apex. Not tried it yet so may not fog up, just thinking in advance.

You may find the coating actually prevents fog so nothing may be needed. If it does still fog and you are advised not to touch it then the words “not fit for purpose” spring to mind. I suspect it’ll be just fine.
