First time in with my new undersuit today. 3kg extra weight to sink it!

I moved onto a Santi BZ400X from a set of Arctics. I knew I'd need a little extra, but 3kg!

You’re lucky... those bad boys are really buoyant!

Don’t forget to re-check weighting after 20 or so dives as the thinsulate will compress slightly.

Not surprised at all about 3kg... I added 5kg for my DUI 400g and that’s nowhere near as tailored as a Santi!

I started with +2 and full 12's and couldn't sink.
Added the extra extra kilo to start the days diving. Held 3m @40b so my weighting is close to where it should be. I'll check again in a couple of months.

I was diving in Capers to test a couple of changes to my rig.

I'm going to have to use a weight belt when I take it to the coast. I've managed to avoid belts and pockets for years. Unfortunately there isn't space on the backplate for another 2kg.

Unless I can find an extra large p-weight...

Out of interest, what temperature was Capers - I'm heading North shortly and this is where the BSAC club I'm looking at do their winter/ training dives.

That would be very useful. I had to add lead to my pockets yesterday.

I have the Halcyon pockets for the harness which I haven't used for a fair while.

    5C yesterday as well.
The undersuit was great. The only bits that got cold where the exposed area of my face, my feet and hands. I didn't realise how cold until I surfaced when I tried to clip off my primary reg and struggled with the clip. No dexterity.
Let me know when you're coming up. Tea and cake are on me.

@Cybes this is the p-weight. If you're interested, send me a PM and we can discuss a price.
