    We are very pleased to announce that, taking into consideration ticket sales, proceeds from the Tourism Fiji Lottery and the Fun Casino, Sponsorship and the Charity Auction the total amount raised from this year's Bite-Back at Cancer Charity Ball is just a little over £19,500. An amazing result of which we are very proud. This money will be split evenly between the two benefactors, Bite-Back Shark and Marine Conservation and Marie Curie Cancer Care.

    Thanks go to Tourism Fiji and Dive Worldwide, all our generous sponsors, Wellers the Auctioneers and of course the guests last night.

    Thanks also to all of you that dipped your hands into your pockets to buy a lottery ticket or two.We eventually sold 963, so just 37 short of a complete sell out, a superb result, way beyond our expectations.

    The winning number, 222, belonged to Steven Malone from Basingstoke, who wins a holiday for two to Fiji, provided by our title sponsors, Tourism Fiji, in association with Dive Worldwide, and includes;
    • Return flights from the UK to Fiji
    • Overnight stay at Raffles Resort at the start and end of his stay
    • All internal transfers
    • Seven nights full board accommodation at Matava Eco Resort on Kadavu Island
    • Ten guided dives with Mad Fish Dive Center on Kadavu Island
    • Three nights B&B accommodation at Matamanoa Island Resort
    • Three nights full board accommodation on Captain Cooks Cruises
    Photos and a full report will be issued soon, as will details of next years ball!!

    Cheers

    Stuart
