Been diving since June 2005 when I was bitten by the bug. I have progressed rapidly and early in 2008 I spent 2 months in Thailand doing my professional qualifications with DiveAsia CDC. Now, I have a list of instructor qualifications but the main ones are;
PADI OWSI
BSAC OWI
PADI EFR/CfC Instructor
PADI O2 Emergency Oxygen Provider
The family and I are members of Mansfield BSAC 735 (http://www.mansfield735bsac.org.uk) which is reasonaly large with 45+ diving members, plenty of snorkellors and a very active Junior Section. I have three children, only one of which dives right now (as most of you here on the forum know). The other 2 are excellent snorkellors/free divers and my wife will only dive in water over 25c, so not in this country!
I am employed as a senior exec for Siemens Enterprise Communications and this means I spend a lot of time out of the country on business. I dont get to couple this with diving in interesting exotic places unfortunatley.... :-( |
