Old but keen!
Been lurking here for a while but after meeting some of you guys down at Porthkerris this weekend I thought I should now officially introduce myself.

I've only just passed my Open Water so I'm going to be needing advice on kit etc. I've got plenty of questions but just wanted to say 'Hello' for now. Thumbs Up

Bubble maker with ambition!

If you could....You would!

RE: Old but keen!
Let me be the first to say hello and welcome, these guys have plenty if answers, just start firing the questions, hope you enjoy the sport, and your never too old.

The first step in diving is getting wet !!

You are better being at the bottom of a ladder of something you enjoy & like doing than at the top of a ladder that you dont enjoy or dislike.

PATIENCE today will bring HOPE TOMorrow

Welcome Doogle, this place is home to several "venerable" divers.

You can help keep the whipper-snappers in order Smile

Hey Doogle and welcome to the forum

Stacks of advice available here on kit and stuff .. in fact you can get an opinion here on almost everything, some of which may make sense.

And don't forget, what happens on dive tour stays on dive tour!!

RE: Old but keen!
Welcome to UKD Doogle. Do you mind clarifying your definition of "old"? On these forums we understand "keen" but to a lot of us "venerable" members (as Harry so eloquently put it Big Grin) age is just a number.

A lonely man, forever on the run
