RE: Diver lost - Rosalie Moller
Not that it makes any difference, but does anyone know the divers nationality.... I never thought to ask when I was on Whirlwind ?

I talked to one of the guides about what happened the week before. I've been diving Tornado boats for a while now and the only Egyptian guide I know of is Reda - he was on Tempest in August when I was out there so if this is the same guide as I suspect it is. It looks like he made a full recovery which is one good thing to come from this sad situation |

That's a real shame. Sorry to hear about the incident. I know that chemist it's only a few miles down the road from me. Hope that the family are doing ok.
Why is it that everyone's signature is better than mine? |

The wife is still having a battle with the egyptian government although i know of a diver who went into the wreck to look for mr costello's body and could not find him "he assumed after hours of searching that the body has been washed out to sea".

RE: Diver lost - Rosalie Moller
i never like reading about dive accidents, but especially avoidable accidents such as this appears to be, i believe enough ppl have spoken about lines into unknown wrecks etc, i feel for all ppl involved in these kinds of accidents, its not just the divers family, that goes without saying, but all the others involved that may be affected long term because of this, the dive guide and his family, the company(s) involved and their probable court cases, the list could go on and on, such a shame, such a waste. be carefull ppl, look after yourselfes, and each other !
start everyday as if you mean it! |
