Just watched the most powerfull DVD about sharks,
personally there amazing creatures...... Please buy or watch SHARKWATER!!!! It brings home whats really happening to the sea's we all love to dive in!!!! 100 million sharks a year slaughted. Area's you think are safe havens for these animals turn out to be one off the worst places for them to be, corrupt goverments, mafia's and its all about shark and the money there fins bring. Im man enough to admitt i was holding the tears back!!!!!! I've never seen a WHALE shark slaughted for its fins!!!!! (think of all the diving ads you see for the maldives) Please please watch!!!!!! http://www.sharkwater.com Let me know your thoughts on the plight of sharks!!!! Cometh the sea cometh the man |

RE: PLEASE READ!!!!
Sharkwater is well worth the watch... sadly the cinema tour was quite limited, didn't allow for many people to go see. It was released on DVD on Monday, so you can now pick it up quite easily.
And yep, it's pretty heart wrenching stuff. |

RE: PLEASE READ!!!!
It wasn't anywhere local for me to see, so I pre-ordered the Blu-Ray version. It is very good and a real eye opener, but can't help thinking for it to have more impact maybe they should give it away free
If we're not suppose to eat animals, why are they made of meat? |

RE: PLEASE READ!!!!
Rob Stewart funded the project privately... he's currently about $2 million in debt, so whilst giving it away free would certainly increase distribution, I think it's probably a step above the call of duty - poor guy would be broke for the rest of his life!
One of the UK based dive centres I'm working for is setting up a video evening, to show the film and also give people a chance to buy it. Perhaps worth chatting with your own LDS about the same, try and incease awareness that way? |

Scuba do ba doo Wrote:the odd tampax floating by!!!!! Ah, make sure you don't let it float passed and advertise it in the lost and found section, even womens sanitary pads might be another divers piece of kit, problem is you can only use them once a month http://uwleakdetector.com/Pads.htm The last comment is funny
