Buying Kit from Scratch
Bit of a wish list thing

If money was no object and you were starting to buy kit from scratch knowing what you know now.

What would your dream set up be?

rebreather, Bare/DUI drysuits, twin 20's Ohmy (there are some for sale on YD

Warm Water/Cold whatever.

Dive Plan: Go down, swim round a bit, come up, don't die

RE: Buying Kit from Scratch
Money no object? I would start with a BMW X5; good to lug all that expensive kit around. Wink

A lonely man, forever on the run

RE: Buying Kit from Scratch
lol, i think i'd get more of the same that i have now. I'd like a new drysuit though.

DUI TLS350 with all the extras.
Halcyon Eclipse for single cylinder and Evolve for twins.
Scubapro Mk25/G250v regs (Possibly or might stick with Apeks).
Couple of Scooters (X, Gavin or SilentSub).
Halcyon or Salvo HID torch.

That kind of thing.

Oh, and more training courses than i can afford right now.

RE: Buying Kit from Scratch
1. A really fit guy to carry all my kit for me!

2. I'm fine with my wetsuit - would buy the 7mm next time though.

3. And fine with my Diva. (I hate the look of that Pearl thing, way too girly for me).

4. Would get some nice shiny lightweight regs (though that shouldn't matter if I get Number 1 right).

5. Still love the sexy boots I just bought.

6. Not fussed about torches for now.

7. My Gekko does me just fine.

8. I'd maybe get some better fins I suppose, other than that I'm pretty easy to please!

9. I'd always break any camera I bought. I prefer to just make friends with people who take good pics and steal theirs.

10. Oh, and a private jet (so I can constantly fly to cool places to dive)

11. And my own house in Dahab.

12. Sod it, I'd buy my own bar in Dahab...and have free beer every day!

RE: Buying Kit from Scratch
All I really need now is to make friends with Polly..... 001_tt2

Whats with the anti girly thing from female divers? Polly doesn't like the Pearl, and one of my other friends likes her Diva but says the name is rubbish because she is not a Diva!

Butch Dyke skinheads for us all next??!!

Oops forgot my Buddy Evolution and Megalodon Rebreathers!
Guess a Monster Truck couldn't hurt for towing the Rib in the UK.
